Wilhelm Leibniz is an outstanding German philosopher, logician, physicist, linguist, diplomat. He created the first mechanical computer. He is called the German Plato, Aristotle and Archimedes in one person.The scientist himself was surrounded by criticism and various intrigues. The Pope invited Leibniz to become the curator of the Vatican Library, but, being a Protestant, the scientist refused. He met several times with Peter the Great and became the author of projects to reform the Russian education system and public administration. Leibniz also participated in the founding of the St. Petersburg Academy of Scienc.In his metaphysical works, such as Monadology, the scientist proved that everything consists of a large number of elements that are in relative harmony with each other. This means that Christian faith and scientific knowledge should not be in conflict with each other, because the existing world was created by God as the best of the existing worlds. In his theological prose, Leibniz proves that existence in the world does not contradict the fact that the Almighty God rules the world.Each student, studying geometry, is faced with the Leibniz theorem. A scientist could offer several brilliant ideas in a week: from a submarine to a completely new watch shape. He patented optical instruments, proposed many designs for mills, pumps and other mechanisms. Without a doubt, Leibniz can be considered the first programmer and information theorist. He even made a drawing of a computer. Wilhelm Leibniz was a unique person: at the age of 30, all of Europe knew him! He had a huge influence on many people of different generations. But the scientist himself always replied: "God acts as the greatest Geometer who likes the best solution to the problem."
